SAUDI AMERICAN BANK vs ATCO, SAUDI ARABIA

This case was related to a dispute between Saudi American Bank, the Client, and ATCO, the main contractor, resulted from Works carried out under an LOI (Letter of Intent) issued by the Client, which was not accepted by the Main Contractor, rendering it unbinding that led to a claim by the Contractor.

In this case I had to provide, on behalf of the Consultant I was working for then, an opinion to the Client and to issue a decision in the case, which was accepted by both parties, leading the Contractor to enter into an agreement subsequently with the Client.

Note: Appendix 4-2 upon request - Document titled “IN THE CASE OF SAUDI AMERICAN BANK vs A. A. TURKI CORPORATION”, dated 30TH September 1998 in connection with Saudi American Bank Eastern Region Building Project, Alkhobar, Saudi Arabia.
